- At 28kg the bike is heavy for some riders
- Despite the bike being a mountain bike design, the Suntour XCT fork is only suitable for light off-roading.
Bottom Line
As with most NCM bikes, the Moscow provides excellent value for money. With a comfortable 80km+ per battery charge and solid build quality it is an excellent ebike for both weekend adventures or courier work. The combination of the 48v battery and brushless motor make this a worthwhile upgrade from the NCM Prague, which sports a 36v and brushed motor. For the prospective ebike owner these upgrades mean better battery and motor lifetime. I recommend the NCM Moscow for anyone seeking a MTB style electric bike, but would recommend upgrading to the Moscow Plus for proper off-roading.
